About Widney Dog Training Club

The club was established in 1979 and is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to bring together, protect and develop the interests of all members and their dogs. We are registered with the Kennel Club and hold weekly training sessions at Moseley Cricket Club

We aim to bring together, protect and develop the interests of all members and their dogs. To this end, the club organises, hosts and supports:

  • Weekly dog training classes for all levels from puppy to veteran
  • Members' social events
  • The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training scheme

As a not-for-profit organisation the club relies on the support of members and the genorosity of committee members, trainers and event organisers

I first joined Widney Dog Training Club in 1981 with my Golden Retriever Luke. I was so pleased with the way the club was run that I went through from puppy class to top class with him and he was a wonderful dog citizen. The pricing structure of the club is the fairest of many training clubs I looked in to with my present dogs. I would and in fact do recommend Widney Dog Training Club to other dog owners I meet Jayne Johnson
